Meet Jazzmine Magloire

"When grenades are thrown at your door, you can rebuild one piece at a time."

WIFE & MOTHER

Jazzmine and Matthew met at church when they were fifteen years old. Matt says he knew the day they met that she was his wife. Though she didn't get the memo that day, the message was received, and they have been married for eighteen years. They have four children. Jacob, David, Isabell, and JP. The fun and chaos of having four kids filled Jazz and Matt's hearts but was short-lived. In 2021, they lost their 12-year-old son David to suicide, leaving a gaping hole in their family. This tragic loss has changed their family in big and subtle ways. Holding David in their hearts and being fully present with one another, they have found ways to grieve and still function as a family. Together, they enjoy movie nights, fighting video games (because Jazzmine just likes to push buttons), helping people, and keeping an eye on JP because he takes a village!

LIFE COACH

Jazzmine became a coach after realizing the ineffectiveness of advice-giving. She noticed that telling people what to do was helpful but not transformative. Seeking her own transformation, she grew curious about why good information wasn't enough to make people change or why prayer lines were filled with the same people. Once she was exposed to coaching, she knew this was the start of a new, life-changing path. In addition to her Professional Life Coaching Certification with Life Breakthrough Christian Coaching, she has completed training in other areas of specialty with Whole Heart Center, Think Differently Academy, Bereavement Training, QPR Institute on Suicide Prevention, and the Crisis Prevention Text Line. She is dedicated to providing personalized coaching and speaking services that empower individuals to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Her approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a deep understanding of the human experience. She believes in the transformative power of self-awareness and helps her clients cultivate a positive mindset to navigate life's complexities with confidence and grace.

AUTHOR

Jazzmine has been an author since high school, writing and performing spoken word poetry in the DC, MD, and VA areas. She never published any of her work because she felt poetry is best when it is performed.

After losing her son, her writing increased and became an outlet for her thoughts. She loves to write because "pen and paper don't judge you. You can repeat as many times as you want, and the pages never get tired of hearing you." Writing her book "If He Doesn't" was originally part of her healing process and became dual-purposed, offering hope and healing to others who are mourning losses either through death or in life.

SPEAKER

More than writing, Jazzmine enjoys speaking, but not just with a mic. She enjoys people. Mutual listening and transparent conversations connect us to one another. She hopes that by her listening, people feel felt, seen, heard, and understood, and by her speaking, they feel love, support, and hope.
